Examin Sunday 1 Nov 2015

Here is a serious question: how do you react when you commit a particular sin and then hear that sin spoken about from the pulpit or among your brothers and sisters in Christ as sin? I do not mean that you are spoken of by name to shame you, but only that the kind un-Christian behaviour you have indulged in is spoken of. Do you feel anger in your heart and wonder who are they, who are also weak and in need of God's mercy, to speak of the wrongs other do? Or do you feel grateful, thinking that God uses their lips to correct your wrong-doing and bring you back on the narrow path that leads to eternal life? I hope the latter; for that is the way of life while the former that of spiritual death.
